A city in 140 symbols: Berlin

Berlin: a large city with empty streets and not so many tourist attractions. Very multicultural, green and comfortable for living, though.

Really? I thought it would be packed with tourists. I've never been there. I'm used to the crowdness of Köln, Düsseldorf etc.
Is it a nice city to visit?

Yes, it is. Berlin is surprisingly empty. For comparison: it's surface area is the same as the Moscow's, but there are only 3,5 million inhabitants, comparing with about 12 millions in Moscow.

Wow that's a big difference. Although I can't even grasp 3,5 million; Amsterdam is the biggest city here and it has only +/- 750.000 inhabitants.

It's surely on my 'to visit' list. I usually pick a city I can drive to & visit in a day and Berlin is around 650 km away. I hope it still has a lot of 'older architecture', I love that.

Actually, for the "old architecture", it's better to visit Köln :_). But Berlin is worth seeing anyway.

Your nose fell down! O_o

Sorry, Yvy, I didn't get it somehow...

Lol nevermind, stupid joke. I tend to make those when I'm very tired.
Look at your smiley...

:-) / :_) the nose..

I believe it's bedtime.

By the way, Ivy, why don't you describe Amsterdam (or your any other Dutch city) in 140 symbols? Send it to me by e-mail: mikhail.lemeshko [at] gmail.com

Hmm I'll have to think about that. I don't think I'm good at it.

Boston – (Massachusetts, USA)
A historic and somewhat important city in the northeast of the country whose inhabitants are quite convinced is the center of the known Universe. They don’t understand why anyone would think otherwise.

Thanks, Gleno! I absolutely agree with your Boston description, but it's longer than 140 symbols... If you can make it shorter - send it to me mikhail.lemeshko [at] gmail.com, I'll publish it this Sunday with a link to your blog.
